Open Pet Type Pony (NEHC “AA”) All ponies must be shown by children under 14 years of age. All ponies must be 14.2 or under. All ponies shown in Hunter classes at a show shall be classified as Hunter Ponies and shall not be eligible to show in this division at the same show. May be shown under English or Western tack. Classes may be divided by age of rider if entries warrant into Under 11 and 11 -13. Shall be ridden at a walk, trot or jog, and canter or lope with excessive speed to be penalized. NEHC Open Pleasure Horse or Pony (NEHC “C”) Open to members and non-members. Open to all horses and ponies ordinarily used for pleasure purposes with no limitations as to the status of the rider or place of residence. To be shown at walk, trot or jog, canter or lope. Loose rein on command of judge only, but without loss of contact. Will be required to back. 106. Open English Pleasure Hunter Seat- To be shown at a flat walk, trot, and canter both ways of the ring. Entries may be asked to hand gallop one or more directions of the ring at the discretion of the judge. For safety reasons the judge may limit the number of horses to hand gallop at one time. Horses must stand quietly and back readily in the line-up. Horses must not stretch in the line-up. Judged on manners, performance, presence, quality and conformation. $20,$15, $10, $5

M&S Children’s Medal—Pony/Horse(2’ for SM/Med, 2’6” for Lg, 3’ Horse) Open to Junior Riders on horses who are not competing at the same show in any hunter or equitation class in which the fences exceed 3’3”. To be shown over a minimum of 8 fences the required height including a combination and at least two changes of direction after the first fence. Two or more tests of the top four competitors are required. The same horse must be used in all phases. Only one rider per horse. Three riders must complete the course in order for points to count. The rider must be a member in order for points to count toward qualifying for the Finals. No cross entry of rider into the M&S Children’s Pony Medal at the same show.
95. M&S Children’s Hunter Classic (3’)
96. M&S Bit O’Straw Hunter Classic Open to Junior or Amateur riders. No cross entry of horse/pony or rider into the M&S Children’s or Adult Hunter Classic. No cross entry of rider into any rated hunter division. Fences 2’6”.
97. Central Equine Junior Medal Open to Junior Riders. To be shown over minimum of 8 fences at 3’6” including a combination and at least two changes of direction after the first fence. 98. M&S Adult Medal Open to Adult and Amateur Riders. To be shown over minimum of 8 fences at 3’ including a combination and at least two changes of direction after the first fence. Two or more tests of the top four competitors are required. The same horse must be used in all phases. Only one rider per horse. Three riders must complete the course in order for points to count. The rider must be a member in order for points to count toward qualifying for the Finals.
101. TAYLOR HARRIS INSURANCE SERVICES CHILDREN'S MEDAL To be shown over a minimum of eight fences 2'9" to 3' in height, spread not to exceed fence height. The course may be either a hunter or jumper type course and must include at least two changes of direction and a combination; Water obstacles (i.e. water jump, Liverpool) are not permitted. The top four riders of the first round competitors are required to perform at least two individual tests from (USEF tests 1 - 19). An Open Numerical Scoring System must be used in the first round, with each rider's score announced at the completion of their round.
102. PESSOA / USEF HUNT SEAT MEDAL Open to junior members of the USEF who have not reached their 18th birthday. Application for membership may be made directly to the USEF office, or the exhibitor can join prior to the class through the USEF steward. To be shown over a course of not less than eight obstacles at 3'6" which must include one combination including an oxer and two changes of direction (change of lead) after the first obstacle. To fill a class, six competitors must complete the course.
103. ASPCA HORSEMANSHIP CLASS Open to junior riders who have not reached their 18th birthday. No participant will be allowed in a class unless they are a junior member and must show their ASPCA number on the entry blank. To be shown over at least 8 fences not exceeding 3'6" The under saddle performance of those riders selected to show under saddle shall count 50%. To fill a class, six competitors must complete the course.
104. USEF SHOW JUMPING TALENT SEARCH/ PRESENTED BY PLATINUM PERFORMANCE Open to US Citizens who are members of the USE Federation who have not reached their 21st birthday and are either Junior or Young Riders and are Amateurs under USE Federation/FEI rules. The over fences phase of the class shall be over a special course of a least ten fences 3'6" to 3'9' in height with spreads to 5 feet. Wings shall be no wider than 36 inches. The course must include a double and a triple combination with at least one spread fence in each. Two other spread fences are required elsewhere on the course and an obstacle with water is recommended. (Will be obligatory in the finals).
87. ARIAT NATIONAL ADULT MEDAL To be shown over a minimum of eight fences 2'9" to 3' in height, spread not to exceed fence height. The course may be either a Jumper or Hunter type course and must include at least two changes of direction and a combination. Water obstacles (i.e.; water jump, liverpool) are not permitted. The top four riders are required to perform at least two individual tests from USEF Tests 1-19. An Open Numerical Scoring System must be used in the first round, with each rider's score announced at the completion of their round. There is no minimum requirement to fill the class.
